Job summary

Kingston College is seeking a Pastoral Tutor to support learners' progress and the learner experience during term time. You will track progress, hold 1:1 meetings, deliver group tutorials, and work with staff and parents to monitor student advancement, while contributing to safeguarding activities.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with preferred experience in youth/community work and careers guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering student workshops or tutorials to a diverse range of students.
• Experience in youth & community work.
• Clear understanding of student needs and how to meet them.
• Experience with careers advice and guidance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor progress of Further Education learners.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with learners.
• Deliver group tutorial programmes.
• Liaise with staff and parents/guardians regarding learner progress.
• Signpost learners to wider support as needed.
• Be part of the Safeguarding team and support a caseload of students.
