Heartwood Learning Trust in Hull is seeking a Pastoral Support Officer to safeguard and support the welfare, behaviour and progress of students. You will lead on pastoral support for pupils, provide advice and guidance, and implement plans to encourage learning and overcome barriers.

The role involves working with students experiencing complex emotional challenges due to external factors, requiring sensitivity and a caring, professional approach to promote a positive learning environment.

Formación

• Pastoral support and welfare guidance experience is desirable.
• Ability to support students with learning barriers and behaviour management.

About this Role

The post holder will work with students in school who are experiencing complex emotionally demanding situations due to outside influences, requiring sensitivity.
