Job summary

Monarch Education in Worcestershire is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to work across a cluster of schools. You will provide 1:1 and small group pastoral support, assist with behaviour interventions, and build trusting relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and ready to learn.

Working with school leadership, SENCOs, and safeguarding leads, you will help with attendance, wellbeing, safeguarding reporting, and contribute to inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pastoral, behaviour, mentoring, or youth support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
• Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusive practice.
• Passion for helping young people thrive.

Monarch Education is seeking dedicated and experienced Pastoral Support Assistant to work across a cluster of schools in Worcestershire, supporting students well being, behaviour, and personal development. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact on young people’s lives.

About the Role

As a Pastoral Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Working closely with school leadership teams, SENCOs, and safeguarding leads, you will:
