Monarch Education is seeking an experienced Assistant Head Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Handsworth. The role is part-time (3 days per week) with a teaching commitment of about 60% in Key Stage 1.

You will work with the Headteacher and leadership team to drive standards, supporting school improvement and maintaining high teaching quality while continuing strong classroom involvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Head Teacher in a primary school.
• Ability to drive school improvement priorities and high-quality teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and DBS checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assume Assistant Head Teacher responsibilities within the leadership team.
• Deliver approximately 60% of timetable teaching in Key Stage 1.

The Role
