Job summary

Foundry Lane Primary School is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Manager to lead safeguarding, attendance, and pastoral support. You will coordinate family engagement and work with external agencies to safeguard vulnerable pupils.

Working hours are 8:00am–4:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 8:00am–3:30pm (Fri) with term-time weeks plus INSET and one extra week. Salary ranges from £25,175.22 to £33,104.07 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation and procedures.
• Experience with early help processes and multi-agency working.
• Experience working with children and families in education or support settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead safeguarding and child protection across the school.
• Coordinate attendance and pastoral support with external agencies.
• Engage parents and carers through regular meetings and workshops.
• Develop strategies to support vulnerable pupils and families.
• Lead on multi-agency planning and early help processes.
• Train staff on safeguarding and pastoral procedures.
