Job summary

Holy Trinity Academy is seeking a full-time Pastoral Manager to lead the pastoral team and provide a comprehensive pupil welfare service. The postholder will assist teaching and support staff in creating a safe and orderly environment and will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour across all year groups.

The role requires designation as Safeguarding Lead and compliance with DBS checks. For January 2027 start, the school offers 37 hours per week, term-time plus 5 PD days, with a pay

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral care within a school environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with pupils, families and staff
• Trained Designated Safeguarding Lead or willingness to become one
• Strong organisational and motivational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pastoral Team to deliver pupil welfare services
• Support teaching and support staff to maintain a safe, orderly environment
• Promote positive behaviour and attitudes among students of all ages and abilities
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and manage safeguarding processes
