Job summary

Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Mentor to join the existing team in Madeley, Telford. The role supports pupils with SEMH needs within ADAPT and THRIVE provisions, enhancing resilience, attendance and personal development through mentoring and targeted interventions.

The post is 35 hours per week, term-time only, with a salary of £22,293 (FTE £28,438). The school offers a friendly environment, CPD, and opportunities for staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing targeted pastoral support to pupils.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and act as a trusted adult.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted pastoral support to pupils attending ADAPT and THRIVE provisions.
• Through mentoring and interventions, promote resilience, self-regulation and positive behaviour.
