Job summary

Dinnington High School in Rotherham is seeking a Pastoral Leader to support teaching and learning by delivering effective pastoral care for an allocated Year Group. The role requires accurate record keeping and timely communication with stakeholders at all levels.

You will join a strong pastoral team, develop strategies to improve student behaviour, and contribute to staff wellbeing. The post is full time during term time (38 weeks) plus inset days, with a starting ASAP and a closing date 7

Qualifications

• Numeracy, literacy and ICT skills are required.
• GCSE passes in English and mathematics at grade C or above (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of pastoral support for an allocated Year Group.
• Accurate record keeping and timely communications with stakeholders at all levels.
• Develop and monitor strategies and procedures for improving and maintaining student behaviour.
• Support school staff and subject areas to enable effective teaching and learning in lessons.
