Job summary

Waltham Toll Bar Academy in Grimsby is seeking a proactive Pastoral Support Assistant to join our Pastoral team. You will monitor and support student behaviour, and run an inclusion unit, with ambitious expectations for all pupils.

The role is 37 hours per week, term time only plus inset days, and salary is pro rata (£23,848 to £27,245). DBS check and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience monitoring and supporting students' behaviour.
• Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
• Willing to undergo DBS checks and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support students' behaviour across lessons and corridors.
• Manage and run an inclusion unit as part of the pastoral team.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to raise standards for all students.
• Maintain high expectations and positive behaviour culture.
