Job summary

Waltham Toll Bar Academy in Grimsby is seeking a Pastoral Support Assistant to join the Pastoral team. This role monitors and supports student behaviour and is based on 37 hours per week, term time only plus inset days (195 days).

The position is permanent, with LGAT 7–LGAT 12 progression, and a pro rata salary range of £27,892 to £31,866. Applicants must be prepared for DBS and safeguarding checks as part of safer recruitment.

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and exceptional individual to be out new Pastoral Assistant at Waltham Toll Bar Academy.

The Pastoral Assistant will work closely with our Pastoral team to monitor and support students' behaviour.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who demonstrates a strong desire to support students and improve behaviour across the Academy.

A crucial part of this role will be managing behaviour and running an inclusion unit.

The successful candidate will hold ambitious expectations for all students.
