Job summary

Dorset Council UK in Poole is seeking a Pupil Participation Assistant to support pupils across our provisions, developing and implementing programmes of support to promote participation in the curriculum and to help pupils manage their feelings and conflicts. You may also work in class, modelling strategies and supporting behaviour plans.

The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week on a term-time only basis, with a pro-rata salary of £23,264–£25,265.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across provisions by developing and implementing programmes of support.
• Promote participation in the curriculum and help pupils develop emotional and social skills.
• Model strategies in class, implement behaviour support plans and assist with conflict resolution.
• Provide pastoral care to support wellbeing.
