Job summary

The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form College is seeking an experienced Behaviour Lead to join our supportive secondary school community in Wroughton. The role focuses on day-to-day management of behaviour, rewards and consequences across Years 7–11 to sustain a positive, inclusive environment.

You will work closely with the Assistant Principal to oversee Student Support and provide a robust pastoral framework, guiding staff and partners to support every student’s potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional management of the day-to-day behaviour, consequences and rewards for years 7–11, including strategic oversight and evaluation of impact.
• Oversee Student Support for all students in years 7–11 in collaboration with the Assistant Principal.
• Act as a support network for teachers, Assistant Principals, Faculty Leads and SEND team.
• Manage the school exclusion reintegration process in line with DFE guidance, meeting with parents and external agencies.
• Direct and resolve day-to-day pastoral welfare matters through the Student Support Team.
• Line-manage five non-teaching heads of year and oversee their performance management.
