Job summary

World’s End Junior School in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Team Member to join our Inclusion Team and support pupils with SEND and SEMH. You will work with families, health services and partners to ensure early help and coordinated support.

You will deliver targeted interventions, build positive relationships, and help maintain records while promoting wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive practice. We offer CPD and a warm, supportive school community.

We are looking for a strong, experienced and skilled practitioner to join our Inclusion Team.

Worlds End Junior School is looking for a compassionate, committed Inclusion Support Team Member to join our vibrant primary community. You will be part of an inclusion team that supports a wide range of SEND and SEMH needs across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to support children and their families at the earliest stage, helping to improve outcomes and prevent difficulties from escalating.

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively with the Inclusion team, health services, and community partners to remove barriers to learning
• Work closely with families, offering guidance, support and regular communication to strengthen home–school partnerships
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation, engagement and resilience
• Deliver targeted interventions that promote wellbeing, confidence and academic progress
• Provide administrative support for the Inclusion Team, including record-keeping, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance
• Champion a culture of inclusion, belonging and high expectations
• Undertake Early Help assessments, coordinate support plans and participate in multi-agency meetings
• Monitor and review progress against agreed outcomes
• Promote the welfare and wellbeing of children and young people

• Holds a relevant qualification in childcare, youth work, social care, education, or a related field (desirable)
