Job summary

World’s End Junior School in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Team Member to join our Inclusion Team and support pupils with SEND and SEMH. You will work with families, health services and partners to ensure early help and coordinated support.

You will deliver targeted interventions, build positive relationships, and help maintain records while promoting wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive practice. We offer CPD and a warm, supportive school community.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and professionals.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Inclusion team, health services and partners to remove barriers to learning.
• Support families with guidance and regular communication to strengthen home–school partnerships.
• Build positive relationships with pupils to support emotional regulation and resilience.
• Deliver targeted interventions to promote wellbeing and academic progress.
• Provide administrative support for the Inclusion Team and maintain records.
• Champion inclusion, belonging and high expectations.
• Undertake Early Help assessments and coordinate support plans.
• Participate in multi-agency meetings and review progress.
• Promote welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
