Job summary

Pasta Evangelists is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to prepare and maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene. You will help set up for service, manage prep levels and stock controls, and ensure efficient operations across shifts.

Working in a fast-paced kitchen, you will follow SOPs, report issues, and support the Team Leader to deliver ready-to-serve dishes that meet brand standards. A focus on teamwork and food safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food handling, storage, and preparation techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up kitchen for service, managing prep levels and waste to control costs.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout shifts.
• Monitor stock, FIFO, and deliveries; report issues to Team Leader/Manager.
• Operate wash-up area and ensure proper cleaning of equipment and signage.
