Job summary

Pasta Evangelists in London is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to oversee a fast-paced team. You’ll train new starters, drive product quality and ensure outstanding customer experiences while keeping costs in check.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food retail environment.
• Ability to manage a diverse workforce.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; pasta enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings when required.
• Embrace and embed changes in PE systems and processes.
• Train new starters per guidelines.
• Coach and support team members and highlight high performers.
• Track absences and report to Area Manager/Deputy Area Manager.
• Ensure Health, Safety and Food Hygiene compliance and take corrective actions.
• Foster a customer-focused environment.
• Manage and report customer complaints per policy.
• Set a lead-by-example mindset for product quality.
• Maximise product availability and sales while controlling costs.
• Communicate sales goals and strive to exceed targets.
• Train the team on new products to drive sales.
• Review daily paperwork for compliance and escalate as needed.
