Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Passive Fire Protection Installer to join our planned works team, carrying out fire door installations and remedial works in social housing tenanted properties around Worcester. You will work Monday to Friday with 39 hours, receive a competitive salary, a company van and fuel card, tool provision, and ongoing training to maintain high health and safety standards.

DBS check may be required and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Joinery, Carpentry, or Passive Fire Protection is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• DBS check required; refresher training possible through Novus.

Responsibilities

• Install fire doors and carry out remedial works in social housing.

Location: Site based within Worcester area

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours

This is an exciting opportunity for a Passive Fire Protection Installer to join Novus Property Solutions, planned works team providing high-quality Fire Door installation and remedial works within Social Housing tenanted properties

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

Experience installing fire doors and carrying out associated remedial works within a social housing environment. Previous experience working in social housing and engaging directly with tenants would be advantageous. Ability to work from job tickets and handheld devices on a daily basis. Able to work effectively as part of a wider contract team whilst managing your own workload and priorities. Successful candidates may be required to complete a practical skills assessment, including the installation of a fire door. Committed to maintaining Novus' high standards of health, safety, and quality at all times. NVQ Level 2 or above in Joinery, Carpentry, or Passive Fire Protection is essential. Knowledge and qualifications in one or more of the following would be advantageous:

• NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry, Joinery, or Passive Fire Protection
• ASFP Passive Fire Protection Training
• FIRAS Installer Assessment or BM TRADA Fire Door Installer Certification
• IFE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection
• PASMA and IPAF certifications

Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness, and Manual Handling training are required. Where certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus. Full UK driving licence is essential. This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check
