Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Passive Fire Protection Installer to join the planned works team in the Gloucester area. You will install fire doors and complete remedial works within social housing tenanted properties, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role emphasizes working with tenants, other trades, and a supportive planning team to ensure efficient, compliant delivery of tasks in a stable, long-term contract environment.

Responsibilities

• Installation of fire doors and completion of remedial works within a social housing environment.
• Work with tenants and other trades to schedule and complete tasks.
• Carry out works from job tickets or handheld devices on a daily basis.
• Adhere to high health and safety standards at all times.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the efficiency of planned works.

Location: Sites based within Gloucester area

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours

This is an exciting opportunity for a Passive Fire Protection Installer to join Novus Property Solutions, planned works team providing high-quality Fire Door installation and remedial works within Social Housing tenanted properties

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

• Installation of fire doors and completion of remedial works within a social housing environment
• Previous experience in social housing, including working directly with tenants, is desirable
• Ability to work from job tickets or handheld devices on a daily basis
• Work collaboratively with other trades and the wider site or contract team, while managing your own workload effectively
• Successful candidates may be required to complete a skills test, including the installation of a fire door
• Adhere to Novus’ high standards of health and safety at all times
• Ideal candidates will have a joinery/carpentry qualification at level 2 or above, FIRAS qualifcations are desirable
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• This role is subject to a DBS check
