Job summary

Outcomes First Group operates 3 Dimensions School in Chard, a specialist independent setting for students aged 7-25 with complex needs. We seek an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to plan and deliver creative lessons, adapt to individual requirements and monitor progress within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

You will contribute to education plans, reviews and safeguarding while helping students gain confidence, skills and qualifications to thrive in school and beyond.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for learning and education.
• Experience working with students in education, youth work, training, care or a similar environment.
• Ability to engage and motivate students through creative and adaptive teaching approaches.
• Nurturing, patient and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Confidence in assessing progress and supporting individual learning goals.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons within your specialist subject area.
• Creating personalised learning experiences that inspire and motivate students.
• Monitoring progress, assessing attainment and setting meaningful targets.
• Supporting the development of individual education plans and review processes.
