Job summary

Outcomes First Group operates 3 Dimensions School in Chard, a specialist independent setting for students aged 7-25 with complex needs. We seek an enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to plan and deliver creative lessons, adapt to individual requirements and monitor progress within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

You will contribute to education plans, reviews and safeguarding while helping students gain confidence, skills and qualifications to thrive in school and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for learning and education.
  • Experience working with students in education, youth work, training, care or a similar environment.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students through creative and adaptive teaching approaches.
  • Nurturing, patient and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Confidence in assessing progress and supporting individual learning goals.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

About the Role

Working within a specialist setting, you will plan and deliver creative lessons that spark curiosity, encourage participation and support progress. You'll take the time to understand each student as an individual, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs and helping them develop both academically and personally. As part of a collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to education plans, monitor progress, support reviews and work closely with colleagues, families and external professionals to ensure every student receives the very best opportunities to succeed.

3 Dimensions School is a specialist independent school for children and young people aged 7-25 with a range of complex learning, communication, social, emotional and mental health needs. Part of Outcomes First Schools, we provide a nurturing, inclusive and highly personalised education that enables every learner to thrive.
