Job summary

Worcestershire County Council is seeking ChS Passenger Assistant NBG086 to support safe transport for pupils and service users. The role involves assisting with passenger boarding, helping passengers on and off vehicles, and working as part of the Driver-led team to ensure comfort and safety.

A DBS check is required due to safeguarding duties. The position is permanent, 25 hours per week, based at Baxter College (Kidderminster) with travel to Rigby Hall School as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake moderate physical activity.
• DBS disclosure required before appointment.
• Good communication and people skills with passengers.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to schools and day centres.
• Assist passengers with getting on/off vehicle and with mobility aids.
• Work closely with the Driver as part of a team to ensure safety and comfort.
