Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking kind, reliable Passenger Assistants to join our casual bank across Wiltshire. The role supports drivers in transporting vulnerable students to and from school, with occasional wheelchair assistance.

Qualifications

• Casual bank role for Passenger Assistants across Wiltshire.
• Term-time only; hours offered during school term time.
• Support drivers to ensure vulnerable students travel safely and comfortably; confidence in handling mobility equipment is a plus.
• Hybrid working model: office on site for half the hours; community staff half admin in workplace; customer-facing roles on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers to transport vulnerable students safely to and from school.
• Help with wheelchair mobility when needed.
• Be part of a supportive team and adapt to flexible working hours.
