Job summary

SMT Corp. in Duxford is seeking a Stores Person to join our warehouse team. You will ensure parts are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining stock control and delivering excellent service to internal departments and external customers.

The role requires reliability, organization and attention to detail, with exposure to fast-paced logistics. Desirable qualifications include a UK driving licence and a forklift operation certificate; you will work Monday to Friday with

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or service-based environment.
• Strong numerical and data accuracy skills.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships.
• An understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries, booking stock into the system.
• Store items correctly and locate them easily.
• Pick, pack and dispatch parts for internal and external customers.
• Support stock control activities, including stock checks and reconciliations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse following company procedures.
