Job summary

Howards Group is seeking a Parts Supervisor to join our Aftersales Team in Taunton. You will manage the parts department, process orders, and ensure accurate stock and delivery timelines while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 12 months of automotive parts or aftersales experience, a full driving licence, and familiarity with an automotive DMS. Monday–Friday, no weekend work, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months automotive parts or aftersales experience.
• Full driving licence required.
• Computer literate with knowledge of an automotive DMS.
• Flexible and a team player who can work across sites.

Responsibilities

• Taking retail and trade orders via email and front counter.
• Receiving and processing deliveries.
• Supervising the parts department and supporting staff.
• Building strong relationships between parts and the wider dealership.
• Minimising credits and returns by ensuring correct parts ordered first time.
• Managing stock inventory and replenishment.
• Supporting training and development of staff.
• Assisting workshop with parts needs.
