Job summary

Air Conditioning Ltd is seeking a warehouse stock controller at our Chelmsford branch. You will ensure engineers have the right tools, parts and equipment to deliver excellent service, picking and arranging deliveries to sites, receiving and packing service parts, and maintaining stock in stores and vans.

DBS checks may be required due to safeguarding of customers. You will manage stock levels, perform regular stock takes, and help order materials for installation works, while upholding safety

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in electrical, plumber wholesaler, builder's merchants or similar supplier-based industry.
• Refrigeration and air conditioning industry exposure is a plus.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Current, valid UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts and equipment for jobs and arrange collection or delivery to sites.
• Receive, check, process and pack deliveries of service parts and installation units.
• Control stock in stores and engineers' vans; run regular stock takes; maintain tidy stores.
• Order parts and materials for installation works.
