Job summary

Dawsongroup EMC is hiring a Parts & Goods Controller in Brighouse to keep stock flowing, balance costs and ensure the right parts are available when needed. You will monitor inventory across multiple sites, handle workshop requests, receive and store parts, and process invoices and returns with accurate records, while helping reduce stock obsolescence and supporting fleet maintenance.

This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills and clear communication with engineers,

Qualifications

• Organised approach to stock, documentation and priorities.
• Confident communication with engineers and workshop colleagues.
• Attention to detail when reconciling parts and records.
• Familiarity with parts books or catalogues helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory across Brighouse, Avonmouth and field stocks.
• Handle parts requests from workshop and Field Service Engineers.
• Receive, allocate and securely store parts with accurate records.
• Process invoices and returns with timely reporting.
• Support stock checks and supplier returns for obsolete items.
