DATS Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Stores Person for a permanent, on-site role near Chester. The successful candidate will assist in materials handling, stock control and distribution, working to high standards in a manufacturing environment with good communication and organisational skills.

DV clearance is desirable and sponsorship is available from the client. Role requires attention to detail and ability to support quality control, data entry, and warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stock control environments.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for team work.
• Ability to work with high attention to detail and within quality standards.
• Forklift licence desirable, DV security clearance sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Support Materials Handling & Distribution Coordinator with receipt and shipment of components.
• Maintain stock control and perform warehouse duties.
• Assist in loading/unloading deliveries and escort contractors/visitors.
• Support quality control processes, report defects and manage traceability.
• Coordinate transfer of centrifuges from assembly to customer plant.
• Data entry for assembly and installation processes and maintain records.
• Ensure stores and work areas are clean and well-organised.
• Contribute to import/export documentation and supply chain processes.
