Job summary

Dennis Eagle UK is seeking a proactive Parts Person to support a busy aftermarket team in Chester-le-Street. You will help with ordering and processing parts for engineers, depots and contracts, and assist the Parts Advisor with sales and customer service.

The role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 07:30 and 17:00, with a salary up to £34,000 p.a. DOE. You’ll contribute to stock control, order processing, warranty/returns, and maintain a clean, efficient work area.

Qualifications

• Proven administration and customer service experience
• Previous experience in workshop or parts control is desirable
• Knowledge of HGV, waste industry, or service centre environments is a bonus
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Results-driven with the ability to stay focused under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
• Comfortable moving between office locations and occasionally entering/exiting vehicles

Responsibilities

• Administer stock control for vans, site workshops, and contracts
• Process parts orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist with parts identification and warranty/returns processing
• Support the team with customer orders, backorders, and special deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Respond to customer needs professionally and efficiently
• Assist with audits and stock checks
• Operate within company guidelines and procedures
