Job summary

Island of Jersey is seeking a practical, organised Parts & Service Advisor to join our small but busy team. This hands-on role blends parts advising and sales with service advising and workshop coordination, serving as a key contact for customers from enquiry through to completion.

You will identify parts, arrange servicing and repairs, keep customers updated, and help move jobs efficiently. Background in parts or service is helpful; training will be provided. One Saturday a month 8-12.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts or service is desirable but training will be provided.
• Familiarity with agricultural machinery is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong customer-facing and administrative abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on parts and sales, and assist with service inquiries.
• Coordinate servicing and workshop activities to ensure timely repairs.
• Keep customers informed on job progress from enquiry to completion.
• Support efficient movement of jobs through the workshop and service processes.

The role would suit someone who understands agricultural machinery, enjoys dealing with people and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally you would have a background in parts or service, a familiarity with agricultural machinery would be advantageous but not essential as full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
