TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, including brands such as Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It operates as a national network of TPS Centres with a workforce of 1,500 employees and a management team committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that recognizes and rewards staff, encouraging ongoing learning and development.

Launched nationally in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS is based on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.

What will you be doing?

As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.

  • Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers
  • Accurately identify parts to meet customer requirements
  • Utilize all product promotions effectively to reach specific targets
  • Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding their needs, responding to requests, processing orders, and offering expert advice
  • Communicate promptly with customers regarding their credit status
  • Support the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets
  • Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting
  • Use all systems properly and accurately to search for and order parts
  • Complete all documentation accurately and promptly
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines in the Operations Manual

What are we looking for?

  • A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Confident and capable communicator with experience in fast-paced and/or telesales environments
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • A team player with drive and determination to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
  • IT literate, preferably with good knowledge of MS Excel
