About the Role

Who are TPS?

TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, including brands like Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It operates a national network of TPS Centres with a workforce of 1,500 employees, fostering a motivating and inclusive workplace that emphasizes learning and development.

Established in 2006 as a new brand concept, TPS operates on an Agency Model, where Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.

What will you be doing?

As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work alongside the Sales Manager and team to meet the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre.

  • Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
  • Identify parts accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize product promotions effectively to meet targets.
  • Identify and leverage sales opportunities within the customer base.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay aware of competitor activity.
  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by understanding their needs, responding to requests, processing orders, and offering expert advice.
  • Communicate promptly with customers regarding their credit status.
  • Support the TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service and good working relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets.
  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries within KPI standards, using the approved greeting.
  • Use systems accurately for searching and ordering parts.
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS guidelines.
What are we looking for?
  • A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • A team player with drive to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • IT literate, preferably with knowledge of MS Excel.
