Technical Business Development Manager - UK Remote

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Technical Business Development Manager to fuel expansion across the telecommunications and large enterprise sectors.

This individual will play a key role in securing new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and acting as the primary point of contact for client engagement. Working within the Business Development & Strategy team, the role is crucial to achieving our revenue targets and increasing market visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach via platforms like LinkedIn, industry conferences, and referrals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, IT leaders, and other key decision-makers at both prospective and existing clients. Sales Strategy & Execution: Lead end-to-end sales processes—from initial contact and needs assessment to proposal delivery, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Pipeline Development: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide reliable revenue forecasts, and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Market Insight: Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive movements to support strategy and positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams including product, marketing, and technical departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client solutions and onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior-level executives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-directed with a strong drive for results and structured work ethic.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and modern sales tools.
  • Background in telecommunications, ISPs, or related technology fields is advantageous.
