TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, alongside Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It is a national network of TPS Centres with a workforce of 1,500 employees, committed to creating an inclusive workplace that recognizes and rewards employees, and encourages learning and development.

Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, meaning Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. TPS has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.

What will you be doing?

As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to meet the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre:

  • Achieve personal KPIs and revenue targets with target customers
  • Identify parts to meet customer requirements accurately
  • Utilize product promotions effectively to meet specific targets
  • Identify and leverage sales opportunities within the customer base
  • Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding needs, responding to requests, processing orders, and giving expert advice
  • Communicate promptly with customers regarding credit status
  • Support the TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and customer service
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve sales targets
  • Handle customer calls and inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting
  • Use systems accurately to search and order parts
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions according to TPS Guidelines
What are we looking for?
  • A self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Confident communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders
  • A team player with drive to meet individual and sales targets weekly and monthly
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • IT literate, preferably with MS Excel experience
