Job summary

Our client in Norwich, Norfolk, is seeking a highly motivated Parts Sales Advisor to join their automotive centre. You will utilise your parts knowledge to assist customers, meet KPIs, and contribute to the business's ongoing success.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with one in three Saturday mornings, 8am to 12:30pm on rotation, the role includes ongoing training and development. A competitive salary and on-target earnings up to £35,000 are offered within a supportive team.

Duties of a Parts Sales Advisor:

• Provide expert advice to customers on automotive parts and accessories to meet their needs
• Achieve personal KPIs and revenue targets by actively promoting relevant products and services
• Accurately identify, locate, and supply parts to ensure customer satisfaction
• Effectively utilise product promotions to meet sales targets
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships both face-to-face and via telephone
• Support the Sales Manager in achieving sales objectives and delivering excellent service
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and stay updated on industry and competitor activity
• Handle customer enquiries efficiently within KPI frameworks
• Use company systems accurately for searching, ordering, and processing parts and documentation
• Follow up on customer orders, credit status, and ensure timely communication

Requirements of a Parts Sales Advisor:

• Previous experience as a Parts Sales Advisor, Parts Supervisor, or Parts Sales Representative is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of automotive parts and the automotive industry preferred
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service
