Responsibilities

• Supply the workshop with parts required for scheduled and ongoing repair work.
• Identify and order the correct vehicle parts.
• Sell parts to retail customers.

• Liaise with Workshop and other departments.
• Order parts from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Monitor parts availability and delivery times.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately.

Location: Norwich

Salary: Up to £32,000 DOE

Hours: 43.54 hours per week, Monday-Friday + alternate Saturday mornings

THE ROLE

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the workshop has the correct parts available when required, while also supporting retail customers with their parts requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supplying the workshop with parts required for scheduled and ongoing repair work
• Identifying and ordering the correct vehicle parts
• Selling parts to retail customers
• Handling parts enquiries professionally by telephone and in person
• Liaising closely with the Workshop and other departments
• Ordering parts from manufacturers and suppliers
• Monitoring parts availability and delivery times
• Ensuring orders are processed accurately
• Maintaining excellent levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the Parts Department
• Building positive relationships with customers and suppliers
• Ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service

You’ll need to be comfortable working in a busy dealership environment, managing multiple requests while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for an experienced Parts Advisor who can hit the ground running.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous Parts Advisor experience within a main dealership - essential
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good IT and computer skills
• The ability to work effectively under pressure
• A proactive and commercially aware approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence

You may currently be working as a Parts Advisor, Senior Parts Advisor, Parts Specialist or Automotive Parts Advisor and be looking for a new challenge with a business that can offer training and genuine career progression.
