Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group in Derby Mackworth is seeking a proactive Parts Sales Advisor to join our busy dealership's Parts Department. You will identify and verify parts stock, receive incoming parts, and ensure stock is stored securely and described accurately.

The role requires strong communication, a passion for the motor trade, and the ability to upsell parts. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with training and development opportunities offered from day one.

Responsibilities

• Identify and verify parts stock and descriptions from suppliers.
• Receive incoming parts and store in correct locations.

• Identify, locate and pick parts for workshop staff and customers.
• Look for opportunities to upsell older or slow-moving parts.
• Support sales growth by understanding customer needs.

What will you be doing?

As a Parts Sales Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Identifying and verifying for quality and description, parts stock and other goods from suppliers.


• Receiving incoming Motor Vehicle Parts into the department and putting stock into the correct locations.


• Ensuring stock is stored carefully, kept secure and in saleable condition.


• Accurately identifying, locating and picking parts for Workshop staff and customers.


• Ensuring every opportunity is taken to sell older and slow moving parts


• Seeking new ways to increase Parts and Workshop sales by identifying customer needs and incremental items to sell.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 16:30pm

• A genuine interest and passion for the Motor Trade


• An ability to build rapport and establish and maintain good working relationships.


• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.


• Confidence with IT systems alongside call handling


• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their workload.


• Endless drive and self motivation.


• A team player mentality.

Previous experience working as a Parts Consultant or in an Aftersales department would be a distinct advantage for this role.
