Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group in Sheffield is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our Sheffield dealership, bringing a passion for people and a track record in retail sales to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will work five days a week, hit sales targets, promote add-ons, and provide a first-class buying journey.

A UK driving licence is essential and comprehensive training will be provided. This role offers a competitive package including a company vehicle, ongoing training, and benefits

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Talk to people and build rapport to identify needs and turn opportunities into business.
• Meet sales targets and maximise profit opportunities with each sale.
• Exceed customer satisfaction and promote long-term profitability for the Dealership & Group.
• Telephone prospect new and existing customers.
• Promote and sell add-ons such as paint protection, service plans and warranties.
• Stay up-to-date with finance options regulations to provide all available options.

What will you be doing?

Our passionate sales team at our highly successful Sheffield dealership are looking for a new team member with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service to join their team. This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first.

You will:

• Take the time to talk to people & build a genuine rapport in order to identify exactly what your customer needs, turning opportunities into business.
• Meet sales volume targets and maximise profit opportunities with each sale.
• Exceed customer satisfaction and promote long term profitability for the Dealership & Group.
• Telephone prospect new and existing customers.
• Effectively promote and sell additional items such as, paint protection, service plans and warranties.
• Keep up to date with current finance options regulations and legislation to be able to provide our customers with all available options.

This position is working 5 days a week as per the sales rota with Sunday's being one of the days off.

Who are we looking for?

You will need to have:

• Experience working in a target-driven retail sales background.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Strong and effective communication skills.
• Brilliant rapport building skills.
• Motivation and drive.
• The ability to deliver a first class Customer buying experience and maximise every profit opportunity.
• An enthusiasm and passion for exceeding targets.
• Knowledge of IT Systems including Microsoft Office
• A full, UK driving licence.

Previous motor industry sales experience is a distinct advantage but not essential as a full training and development programme will be provided from Day 1.

The successful applicant must agree to a Basic Disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) procedures. Employment will be offered to the successful applicant subject to a satisfactory Disclosure report.
