Job summary

Travail Employment Group is advertising for an experienced Parts Controller to join a busy materials handling operation in Grantham. The role centers on sourcing and ordering parts for material handling equipment, managing stock, and handling supplier enquiries to ensure parts are available when needed.

You will liaise with service engineers to coordinate urgent deliveries, maintain accurate stock records, process returns and support the wider service team to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Previous parts experience within forklift, plant, automotive, agricultural or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of spare parts and part-number identification.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good IT skills and experience using stock management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and ordering parts for material handling equipment.
• Managing stock, purchase orders and sales enquiries.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure parts availability when needed.
• Coordinating urgent parts deliveries to service engineers.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and processing returns.
• Supporting the service team to minimise equipment downtime.
• Providing excellent customer service to engineers and customers.
