Job summary

Neos Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Parts Controller in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The role focuses on ensuring parts are available for engineers, maintaining stock accuracy and coordinating with suppliers to support workshop operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in parts control, stock management, and a proactive approach to ensuring parts availability, aligning with a growing equipment hire and service business. On-site, full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Parts Controller or similar role.
• Experience in plant hire, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, automotive or engineering.
• Good organisational and attention to detail; able to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage the ordering, receipt, storage and distribution of spare parts and components.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory levels are monitored.
• Source parts from suppliers, obtaining competitive prices and checking availability.
• Liaise with workshop engineers, field service engineers and other internal departments to identify parts requirements.
• Process parts orders, deliveries, returns and warranty claims where applicable.
• Ensure parts are correctly identified, labelled and stored.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment to avoid delays to repairs and maintenance.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised parts department.
