Job summary

FMG Repair Services Limited in Mansfield is seeking a Parts Assistant to join our busy bodyshop parts department. You will receive parts into stock, book parts to workshop jobs, maintain stock levels and handle internal customers, using vehicle knowledge and catalogues to keep pricing current and stock secure.

We offer a fantastic basic salary (£28,166–£30,000 per annum) plus bonus, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30 with 1 hour lunch).

Qualifications

• Experience in running a parts department or similar role is essential.
• Knowledge of vehicle layouts and parts catalogues.
• Ability to use computer stock lists and maintain pricing accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts into stock and book parts to workshop jobs.
• Maintain stock levels and respond to internal customer requests.
• Ensure pricing structures are up-to-date and stock control is secure.

This is an exciting opportunity for to join the UK’s leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists as a Parts Assistant in our workshop in Mansfield. As part of a team of specialists your responsibility as a Parts Assistant will be for the day to day support of running of the parts department. Daily duties will include receiving parts into stock, booking of parts to workshop jobs, maintaining stock levels and dealing with internal customers. Utilising your sound knowledge of vehicle layout, parts catalogues and computer stock lists, you’ll also ensure our pricing structures are kept up-to-date, and that stock control is always secure and well maintained.
