Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Canterbury seeks an Automotive Parts Advisor to join the workshop team. You will be the link between service, technicians and retail/trade customers, ensuring parts are catalogued, ordered and dispatched accurately.

The role requires experience as a Parts Advisor or related position, familiarity with EPC, and strong customer service. A full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK are required. On-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor/Parts Specialist/Automotive Counter Sales within a dealership or motor factor environment.
• Strong familiarity with EPC, inventory management software, and vehicle identification system lookups.
• Solid communication and customer service skills for both retail counter and telephone enquiries.
• Full UK driving licence & eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage counter and telephone parts inquiries, source and catalogue automotive components.
• Handle trade parts sales, stock control, order picking and dispatch.
• Liaise directly with workshop technicians and retail customers to ensure correct parts are ordered and delivered.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 basic per annum + realistic bonus structure (£36,000 OTE)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, standard workshop hours (plus 1 in 3 Saturdays)
