Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd seeks a Parts Advisor to join a busy Avonmouth trade parts environment. You will identify parts, process orders, update customers and drive sales growth. If you have parts experience and are target-driven, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities include receiving orders, matching stock, upselling, and ensuring on-time dispatch. A full UK driving licence is required, with rotating shifts and overtime opportunities on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous Parts Advisor experience - ideally in a busy trade parts environment.
• Strong customer service skills - professional and courteous.
• Sales-oriented and target-driven.
• Good computer literacy - confident with parts systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and interpreting parts orders - advising on additional requirements or prices.
• Matching orders against stock items and advising on non-stocked items.
• Answering inbound calls within 3 rings.
• Pre-picking and maintaining parts stores.
• Promoting new customer business - liaising with management and aftersales executives.
• Keeping customers and workshop updated on backorders and availability.
• Picking parts and allocating to technicians.
• Locating unavailable items - arranging delivery or raising V.O.R. orders.
• Maximising sales through upselling and campaigns.
• Managing key account customers - developing sales and increasing spend.
• Preparing customer orders for dispatch - ensuring accuracy and highlighting shortages.
• Ensuring all orders are invoiced and dispatched on schedule.
• Handling customer complaints - escalating unresolved issues.

Parts Advisor - Avonmouth

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 18:00 (rotating shifts, 60-minute unpaid lunch)
Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00 - 1 in 3 rota basis
Full time, permanent

Earning Potential - Salary:

£33,575 per annum (including Saturday rota)
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
