We are constantly growing our business and have an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Parts Advisor to join our After Sales Team in Mervyn Stewart North Down, based in Conlig, dealing with the MG & Skoda brands.

As an Experienced Parts Advisor, you will help ensure the efficient running of the Parts Department with reference to trade, workshop sales, and goods inwards. You will also be building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with our customers whilst also working to achieve sales targets for the department. This is a role for a talented, enthusiastic individual keen to develop their skills within the motor industry.

In every aspect of our retailing, the aim is always to exceed customer expectation and so customer care is of paramount importance. Within this role, you will be helping lead from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible After Sales experience.

Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure a 5-star customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

1. To serve the customer in a polite and responsible manner and to ensure that payment is made to the Company’s requirements and policies at that time.
2. Provide a service to the highest standard that customers can trust.
3. Undertake the goods inwards and receipting processes, issue of parts to workshop jobs and accurately identify and price parts on electronic vehicle health check.
4. To ensure technicians are served as quickly as possible.
5. Parts that require ordering are obtained as quickly and economically as possible.
6. Return of warranty parts in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
7. Parts to be properly located as per manufacturer guidelines.
8. All stock and orders to be checked against delivery and advice noted and located.

Required Criteria

1. Proven track record in excellent customer service.
2. Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a busy franchised parts dept. essential.
3. Good Interpersonal and communication skills.
4. IT literate.
5. Ability to work as a member of a team as well as on own initiative.
6. Ability to work to deadlines.
7. A full valid UK driving licence.

Desired Criteria

1. Previous experience within the relevant franchise Motor Trade preferable but not essential.
2. Minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade C or above including Maths, ITC and English preferable.
