Venatu Recruitment Group in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to support both heavy and light commercial vehicles. You will identify and source the correct parts and deliver excellent customer service to workshop teams and customers alike.

This role offers Monday–Friday 7:30am–5pm with alternate Saturday mornings. Overtime is paid at 1.5x, providing a solid route to develop within the commercial vehicle parts sector.

Shift:Monday - Friday 730am - 5pm (1 in 4 Saturdays 8am - 12pm)

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor with a passion for the commercial vehicle industry? We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join the team in Hemel Hempstead, supporting both heavy and light commercial vehicles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong knowledge of vehicle parts, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the parts department, helping customers and workshop technicians identify and source the correct parts for a wide range of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying, sourcing and supplying parts for heavy and light commercial vehicles.

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Advising customers on parts availability, pricing and suitable alternatives.

Processing parts orders, deliveries and stock enquiries.

Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring the parts department is well organised.

Liaising with suppliers to source parts efficiently and cost-effectively.

Supporting the workshop team to ensure repairs and servicing are completed efficiently.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a Parts Advisor or similar automotive parts role.

Has knowledge of commercial vehicle parts, ideally covering both heavy and light vehicles.

Has excellent customer service and communication skills.

Is organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.

Can work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.

Has good attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach.
