Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor for a busy department serving both heavy and light commercial vehicles. You will identify, source and supply parts, assist workshop technicians and customers, and help keep stock records accurate.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with Monday to Friday hours, alternate Saturday mornings and overtime paid at 1.5x. A strong customer service mindset and knowledge of vehicle parts are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous Parts Advisor experience in automotive parts.
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle parts including heavy and light vehicles.

• Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.

Parts Advisor

Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £35,100 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: Monday - Friday 730am - 5pm (1 in 4 Saturdays 8am - 12pm)

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor with a passion for the commercial vehicle industry? We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join the team in Hemel Hempstead, supporting both heavy and light commercial vehicles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong knowledge of vehicle parts, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to delivering outstanding customer service.

The Role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the parts department, helping customers and workshop technicians identify and source the correct parts for a wide range of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying, sourcing and supplying parts for heavy and light commercial vehicles.

• Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

• Advising customers on parts availability, pricing and suitable alternatives.

• Processing parts orders, deliveries and stock enquiries.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a Parts Advisor or similar automotive parts role.

• Has knowledge of commercial vehicle parts, ideally covering both heavy and light vehicles.

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Is organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.

• Can work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.

• Has good attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach.
