Job summary

Jago Consultants is recruiting on behalf of a main car dealership for an experienced Parts Advisor in Diss. The role covers counter sales to public and trade, service department parts supply, and compliance with company procedures.

You will work Mon-Fri 8:00–17:30, with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30–12:30, in a busy retail/parts environment. You should have about 2 years of experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a parts/service role or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax and in person at the counter.
• Supply parts to the Service Department as requested.
• Raise and maintain accurate records according to company procedures.
• Inspect parts in front of the customer as required.
• Inspect incoming goods and report discrepancies.
• Place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
• Pick customer orders and arrange delivery or transfers with documentation.
• Observe health, safety and Fire Regulations and maintain area cleanliness.

Our client is a main car dealership looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their team in Diss site

Location – Diss

Salary – £24,000 , plus Bonus

Hours – Mon to Fri 8am to 5.30pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm

Parts Advisor Role:

• To Handle sales of parts to the public and trade by telephone, fax and in person at the Retail/Trade Counter, and to operate the relevant Departmental Procedures to a high standard to ensure customer satisfaction.
  To supply parts as requested to the Service Department
• To raise and maintain legible And accurate records as laid down in Company Procedures.
• To inspect parts in front of The customer as laid down in the Company Procedures.
• To inspect incoming goods against the relevant documentation, and to report and record any discrepancies.
• To place incoming stock in correct binning locations.
• To pick customer orders and Place them in the correct area e.g. delivery area/inter-branch transfers, together with the relevant documentation.
• To report and record any discrepancies/damage to stock parts.
• To operate computers and other machinery/equipment in accordance with Company Procedures/Manufacturers’ instructions.
• To support and implement the Company’s Quality System and carry out the responsibilities documented in the relevant Procedures Manuals.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the customer area/warehouse.
• To maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance
• To observe all Health, Safety and Fire Regulations.
