Perfect Placement UK Ltd is assisting a prestige Cheltenham car dealership in their search for an experienced Parts Advisor to join the busy Parts Department. The role offers a competitive salary around £30,250 per year with overtime potential and an extensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include handling parts enquiries, stock control, and supplying parts to technicians, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a franchise dealership or motor factor.
• Strong IT literacy, familiarity with parts catalogue systems (Kerridge/ADP advantageous).
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills with a friendly, professional manner.
• Reside within a reasonable commute to Cheltenham.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries.
• Identify, pick, and dispatch parts accurately and efficiently.
• Manage parts stock control to ensure availability and minimise excess.
• Supply parts to vehicle technicians within the workshop.
• Cover delivery runs in the absence of the Parts Delivery Driver.
• Maintain records and update the electronic parts catalogue system.
• Collaborate with the Parts Manager and wider team to deliver high standards of service.

Our client, a prestigious and award-winning franchise-approved car dealership in Cheltenham, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their dynamic Parts Department. Duties as a Parts Advisor:

• Providing excellent customer service to trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries

• Managing parts stock control to ensure availability and minimise excess
• Supplying parts to vehicle technicians within the workshop
• Covering delivery runs in the absence of the Parts Delivery Driver
• Maintaining accurate records and updating the electronic parts catalogue system
• Collaborating closely with the Parts Manager and wider team to deliver high standards of service

Parts Advisor Requirements:

• Typically, 2-3 years recent experience working within a franchise-approved dealership or motor factor environment
• Strong IT literacy, particularly with electronic parts catalogue systems (experience with Kerridge/ADP system is advantageous but not essential)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a friendly, professional telephone manner
• Knowledge of parts stock control and order processing
• Reside within a reasonable commute to Cheltenham or nearby
