Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor for a reputable automotive parts provider in Guildford. The role offers a competitive basic salary of £32,000 per year with an achievable OTE of up to £36,200 including performance bonuses.

Hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts (1 in 3) from 8:00am to 1:00pm. The position includes 22 days of holiday per year plus birthday entitlement and opportunities for ongoing professional development within

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within a motor trade environment.
• Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication.
• Ability to build rapport and work well in a team.
• Well-organised with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• IT literate with experience using dealership management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service to trade and retail clients.
• Accurately identify parts and recommend suitable solutions.
• Handle inbound calls and customer queries while maintaining KPIs.
• Process and record orders with strong administrative standards.
• Build and nurture customer relationships to promote repeat business.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and optimise stock management.

Duties:

• Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service to both trade and retail clients
• Accurately identify parts and recommend suitable solutions tailored to customer needs

• Process and record orders accurately, ensuring excellent administrative standards
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships to promote repeat business

• Support the team with stock control, administrative duties, and service excellence

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor, Bodyshop Parts Advisor, or Parts Administrator within a motor trade environment
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and work effectively as part of a team
• Well‑organised with high attention to detail and accuracy
• IT literate, with experience using dealership management systems and MS Office
• A genuine passion for the automotive industry and a desire for career progression
• Eligibility to work in the UK without Sponsorship
