Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd on behalf of a renowned motorcycle dealership in Cheltenham seeks an experienced Motorcycle Parts Advisor. You will assist customers with parts enquiries, process orders, manage stock, and liaise with technicians and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement while supporting the dealership’s e-commerce presence.

The role offers a 42.5-hour week (Mon-Fri), with a starting salary up to £28,000 plus a performance-based uncapped bonus scheme and OTE around £30,000.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication are essential.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• IT literacy and experience using electronic parts catalogues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• UK motorcycle licence with few points is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with parts and accessories enquiries.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain stock records and inventory levels.
• Liaise with technicians, suppliers and manufacturers for procurement.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Manage the dealership's online shop operations.
• Support the wider Parts Department to maintain professionalism and efficiency.

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

• Assisting customers with parts and accessories enquiries
• Processing parts orders accurately and efficiently

• Providing exceptional customer service and support in person and over the phone

Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
• Excellent communication and customer service skills as a Parts Advisor
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• IT literacy, with experience using electronic parts catalogues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A UK motorcycle licence with minimal points is highly desirable but not essential
• Passion for motorcycles and the motorcycle industry
