Job summary

PeoplePlus is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to oversee delivery partners across North and East Scotland, ensuring performance, quality and safeguarding standards while maintaining strong working relationships. The role requires frequent travel within Scotland and a base in Scotland with flexibility to meet partners and attend meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply-chain management, contract management, partnership management or similar environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors or delivery partners against performance/quality/contractual requirements.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills with accountability for performance and quality.
• Ability to use performance data/MI to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Experience managing performance via action plans, root-cause analysis and escalation.
• Understanding of quality assurance, compliance, risk management and contractual requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple partners, priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of delivery partners against contracts, service levels, participant volumes, budgets, performance indicators and quality standards.
• Build professional relationships with subcontractors, acting as the go-to contact for operational performance, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Lead regular partner performance reviews using MI and dashboards to assess referrals, engagement, job starts and completions.
• Maintain performance ratings, action plans and escalation records; intervene when performance, capacity, quality or compliance fall below expectations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and agree clear, time-bound improvement plans with delivery partners.
• Escalate sustained underperformance and advise on referrals, reallocation, or contractual remedies as needed.
• Undertake quality monitoring visits, file checks and assurance activities with evidence of actions.
• Ensure delivery partners meet Grant Funding Agreement requirements including safeguarding, GDPR, data security, fraud prevention, audit access and branding.
